Business Studies for Grades 10-12 has 4 respected Learning Outcomes. The first learning outcome is:
- Learning Outcome 1: Business Environments, the learner is able to demonstrate knowlege and analyse the impact of changing and challenging environments on a business practice in all sectors.
This outcome deals with the elements of the business enviromens which are the micro, macro and market and the activities that delt within. Businessess can control these environments to varying degrees. All business so called practitioners need to be aware that of these enviroments and the degree to which they can influence them. Primary, Secondary and Tertiary sectors are delt with within this outcome.
- Learning Outcome 2: Business Ventures, the learner is able to identify and research viable business opportunities ans to explore these and related issues through creation of achievable bsuiness ventures.
This outcome focuses on on the generation of ideas, research, drawing up and presentation of business plans and business information and the development and implementation of achievable actions plans.
- Learning Outcome 3: Business Roles, as a grade 11 learner you will able to demonstrate and apply contemporary knowledge and skills to fulfil a variety of business roles.
This outcome focuses mainly on preparing learners to apply self management skills and to be professional business practitioners, collaborators and team members, innovators, entrepreneurs and of course citizens.
- Learning Outcome 4: Busines Operations, a grade 11 learner is going demonstrate and apply a range of management skills and specialised knowledge to perform business operations successfully.
This outcome focuses on the following eight business functions:

- Marketing
- Production
- Purchasing
- Public relations
